Fund Your Training with CITB Support

Save money on staff training with CITB grants.

UK Training & Health is a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO), which means many of our courses are eligible for CITB grant funding. If you’re a CITB-registered employer, you could claim back part or all of your training costs.

What Is CITB Funding?

The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) offers financial support to help construction employers train their staff. Whether you’re a small business or a large contractor, funding is available for everything from short courses to full qualifications.

What Courses Can Be Funded?

You can claim CITB grants for a wide range of training, including:

• Health & Safety (e.g. SSSTS, SMSTS)

• CPCS and NPORS plant & machinery tickets

• NVQs and formal qualifications

• First Aid & Manual Handling

• Leadership & Management

• And more…

We’ll guide you through the process and handle the paperwork — just provide your CITB registration number when booking.

CITB Funding Options

1. Short Duration Grant
Grants of £30, £70 or £120 depending on the course.

• For CITB-registered employers

• We’ll submit the claim on your behalf

2. Skills and Training Fund
Support for employers with fewer than 100 staff:

• Up to £5,000 for 1–49 employees

• Up to £10,000 for 50–99 employees
  Covers any training that improves business performance — including non-construction.
  We’ll guide you through the application process.

3. NVQ Qualification Grants
Up to £600 per NVQ achievement.
Available for Site Supervision, Plant Operations, Occupational Work Supervision and more.
Open to CITB-registered employers with staff completing NVQs.
